Relo Terms Of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Relo platform, including the website, services, and any related applications (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using Relo, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
1. About Relo
Relo is an online marketplace that connects FIFO (Fly-In Fly-Out) and similar shift-based workers (“Stayers”) with hosts who offer short-stay accommodation (“Hosts”).
Relo does not own, lease, manage, or control any accommodation listed on the Platform. Relo acts solely as a facilitator and intermediary.
2. No Tenancy or Lease Created
You acknowledge and agree that:
Relo does not create a residential tenancy, lease, or landlord–tenant relationship
Any stay arranged via the Platform is a short-term, non-exclusive licence to occupy
Long-term tenancy laws do not apply to bookings made through Relo
Relo listings are designed specifically for short-stay accommodation aligned to work rosters.
3. Eligibility
3.1 Stayers (FIFO Workers)
To use Relo as a Stayer, you must:
Be at least 18 years old
Provide valid government-issued photo identification
Provide reasonable proof of employment in FIFO, DIDO, or equivalent shift-based work (e.g. employer details, roster evidence)
Relo may suspend or terminate access if verification requirements are not met.
3.2 Hosts
To list accommodation on Relo, Hosts must:
Be the property owner or have authority to offer the accommodation
Provide accurate property details and photos
Comply with all applicable local laws, council regulations, and insurance requirements
Hosts are solely responsible for ensuring their listing is lawful.
4. Platform Rules and Conduct
Users agree not to:
Misrepresent identity, employment, or accommodation details
Circumvent the Platform to avoid fees
Use the Platform for unlawful or unsafe purposes
Engage in harassment, discrimination, or unsafe behaviour
Relo reserves the right to suspend or remove any user or listing that breaches these Terms.
5. Payments and Fees
All payments are processed securely via third-party payment providers (e.g. Stripe)
Relo charges a platform service fee on completed bookings
Fees are disclosed before payment is made
Relo does not guarantee availability, pricing, or suitability of any listing.
6. Cancellations and Changes
Cancellation terms are displayed at the time of booking
Roster changes are common in FIFO work; flexibility is encouraged but not guaranteed
Refunds (if applicable) are processed according to the cancellation policy selected by the Host
Relo may assist with dispute resolution but is not liable for outcomes.
7. Storage of Belongings (If Offered)
Some Hosts may offer storage of personal belongings during off-swing periods.
Storage is optional and Host-dependent
Relo is not responsible for stored items
Any storage arrangement is strictly between Host and Stayer
8. Reviews and Feedback
Users may leave honest reviews.
Relo may remove reviews that are:
False or misleading
Abusive or defamatory
Irrelevant to the stay experience
9. Liability and Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Relo is not liable for personal injury, property damage, loss, or disputes arising from stays
Users participate at their own risk
Relo makes no warranties regarding accommodation quality, safety, or suitability
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Relo from any claims, losses, or liabilities arising from:
Your use of the Platform
Your interactions with other users
Your breach of these Terms
11. Termination
Relo may suspend or terminate access at any time if:
These Terms are breached
Verification information is false or withdrawn
Continued access poses risk to users or the Platform
12. Changes to These Terms
Relo may update these Terms from time to time.
Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia.
Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Western Australian courts.
